Happy New Year!
Publically, 2017 started at the end of September for Alpherat Films, also marking the 5th anniversary of its inception. Even with that late of a start, significant progress has been made to get the wheels turning on some ambitious projects. ‘Begin’ and ‘Bater’ are now in different stages of development and competition, with 2018 already shaping up to be another important milestone.
Previous posts highlight the success of ‘Bater’ at the Ronan Phelan Script Competition in IndieCork and throughout The Monthly Film Festival (TMFF), while ‘Begin’ got off to a nice start in the 1st International Film Festival of Oranjemund, only to sneak in another nod as a finalist at the Alternative Film Festival (AltFF) in Toronto, Ontario.
Overall, for a quick 3 months, things have been very busy.
