Also last week, it was announced that ‘Bater’ was both a quarterfinalist in The Monthly Film Festival (TMFF) and a pitching candidate in IndieCork. Since then, ‘Bater’ has progressed to the semi-finals in TMFF and the finalists will be announced next week.
In Cork, Mark Dollard’s ‘The Story of Aylan’ took home the Ronan Phelan Script Award. As mentioned in last weeks posts on seanwrenn.com and here, Liza was there to step in and fly the flag for 2 pitches, as well as having the fantastic short film Topgraphia Hibernica screening at the festival too.
